ABOUT VICTOR
From trailer park to Grand Park, Victor is a lifelong Shamrock who has lived his entire life on or near West 186th St. in Westfield. He has seen many changes in his 30 years, which is why he feels that he has grown up alongside our once small town. Victor's love for Westfield first started when he lost 100 pounds and became the mascot at WHS. As a kid who experienced bullying, he found joy in being able to make people happy throughout the community. Ever since, Victor's Westfield roots have been ingrained into his identity. Simultaneously, Westfield became a city which gave him the goal to be a positive servant leader of the community that had given him a sense of purpose.
After graduating from WHS in 2011, and then Huntington University in 2015, Victor was thankful to be given the opportunity to work for the Indiana House Republicans. He then went on to be a Campaign Manager for State Representatives and local candidates. During this time, Victor began to get more involved within Westfield through volunteering, being at city council meetings, and growing positive relationships within the community. In 2018, Victor went back to Westfield High School as a staff member in the Special Education department. He loved mentoring students but was recruited back to the private sector in 2022 to use his marketing skills.

WHY NOW
Westfield needs leaders who will represent the community positively, be actively involved, and have a vision for the next 30 years. Despite Victor being the youngest member of any board or commission in the city, he has grown up experiencing the rich history of Westfield and believes that he can best represent the NOW generation of Shamrocks. Having been raised by his grandmother, Victor knows how to help bridge the gap in philosophy between older and newer residents alike.
Victor's #1 goal since high school has been to serve Westfield. He was blessed in 2019 to be awarded "Emerging leader" by the Westfield Chamber and, in 2020, was appointed to the Advisory Planning Commission (APC) and Board of Zoning and Appeal (BZA) for the city. As Victor helps guide Westfield into the future, his hope is to celebrate Westfield's history while embracing new opportunities.
"Titles mean nothing to me. My focus is the betterment of Westfield, period. As a community, we either fall or RISE together. Building positive Relationships, improving aging Infrastructure, supporting the public Safety team, and providing Engagement opportunities are the building blocks to a thriving city. My passion for Westfield fuels my purpose to serve others. As someone who knows what was, and wants to be part of what will be, NOW is the time for me to be on the Westfield City Council." - Victor
